Was born on May 27, 1974 in Kharkov, Ukraine (part of former Soviet Union). After finishing high school went to Kharkov State University, majoring in Radiophysics and Electronics. In 1995 immigrated to USA with parents. In 1999 was admitted to Pace University to major in Computer Science. Later went to Baruch College and then switched the major to Entrepreneurial Managemet.

Worked as a programmer since 1992 (in Ukraine). In USA worked as programmer, database developer, team leader, web projects manager as well as PC technician, IT consultant, developer/analyst since 1995.
